Paradise for winter sun seekers - Lanzarote

In part of Europe and America, the problem for people is that in winter, it is hard to enjoy sunshine. What you can do is only stay at home to keep yourself warm. Then, you may think of Hawaii or Marbella where you can spend a nice warm holiday but your pocket may not agree with it. In such a situation, Lanzarote should be your first choice where you can put yourself on the sunny beaches with a low budget.
Lanzarote is a Spanish island located in the easternmost of Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. It is actually the fourth largest island of the Canaries which is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide. It is 120 km from the coast of Africa and it is not far from any European country which is why it is a favorite destination for European travelers.
Lanzarote was born out of volcano eruptions. The name of the island means "The red mountains" and probably what you have on this island is the closest with what you will experience on the moon.  On this island, you can enjoy picturesque scenery, peaceful villages and of course enchanting sunshine.
